I'm working on being more willing to live my dreams. I know that it sounds like a "duh" situation. I should be MORE than willing to live my dreams, right? They are, after all, MY dreams! I picked them. But I make so many excuses and put up so many walls that stop my progress. I tell myself lies about money: There isn't enough for me to invest in myself. I tell myself lies about time and energy: A "good" mom would spend all of her time and energy on the kids and none on herself. I tell myself lies about what needs to happen before I get to work on my dream: I need to be older, clean the house, train the dogs, finish my advanced degree, have more experience, work longer... All of these lies lead me to say "No" way too often. So, I'm working on saying "Yes!" This picture from the movie Yes Man says it all:
Recently, I have said "Yes" to:
Taking a class with
SARK, who I just love.
Making an appointment with my amazing web designers to move forward with creating my fabulous new web site.
Buying a fabulous new professional camera with macro lens, so I can shoot my own jewelry.
Claiming my goal of becoming a minister OUT LOUD!!
Organizing my jewelry studio.
Creating a custom line of findings for
Bead World. (I've wanted to do this for AGES!)
Accepting a feng shui challenge, about which I will continue to update you all.
What can YOU say yes to this week? Today? Try it... YES!
