Marci Shimoff (author of Happy for No Reason, Chicken Soup for the Woman's Soul and featured teacher from the film The Secret) has issued a challenge to all of us who feel stuck, blocked, cluttered or unclear. According to feng shui, your outer environment echos your inner mental state and vice versa. If our thoughts are cluttered and confused, we can help ourselves by clearing out our cluttered office, home or closet. So this is the challenge: Get rid of 27 things a day for 9 days straight. (Donate the items to charity, recycle them or throw them away.) That equals 243 things gone from your external environment, allowing your world to be more orderly and serene. And a serene external environment makes room for your inner thoughts to quiet and clear as well. I'll blog about my results and let you know the wonderful things that happen for me. Let me know what happened for you!
