I have a dear friend who, bless her heart, dies a little inside every time I say the word God. Despite having very much the same view of the Universe that I do, despite having danced around the fire with me at pagan holiday celebrations, she just can't take it. Every once in awhile, she has to check in with me to make sure that God still means Mother/Father/Creator Source. I think this is a really common issue in spirituality, and in religion in general. We get caught up in the semantics, in the details, and temporarily lose sight of what is important. I believe there is one Power, one Life and that Life is God. That Life is MY life. I am One with the Creator Source, and I don't care what that Source is called. (I don't think God cares either. He/She/It is too busy creating a Universe and empowering every single entity to be creators in their own right. And eating chocolate.)
I call God:
the Divine Mind
the One
Holy Father and Divine Mother
the All Good
the Creator Source
Beloved
Spirit
the Truth
the Light
Divine Love
Peace Maker
Source of all Forgiveness
the Source
the Power
Sweet Spirit
Mother/Father/God
Ultimate Wholeness
Mystical Weaver of Dreams
Me (and You)
