I just got home from a fantastic concert at New Vision: Karen Drucker and Karen Taylor-Good, two "New Thought" divas who create the most gorgeous, positive music. I really enjoyed laughing, crying and singing along with Karen Taylor-Good. I mean, she's amazing. But Karen Drucker is on a whole other level with me. Her music has nursed me through a divorce, illness, dating (shudder), buying a house as a single gal, parenting, job crises and every other strain of disaster a girl could befall. I just pop in a Karen CD (usually in the car) and sing along as loudly as I can until I believe the words are true. (That's me with the lovely and talented Karen Drucker, by the way, in the picture above left!)

I love her. In an unabashedly-requesting-a-dorky-photo-so-I-can-blog-about-it kind of way, I truly adore and appreciate her. Give her music a listen. At the very least, it will brighten up your mood. And maybe, if you're lucky, she will touch a place in your heart and help make your world a better place to live in.
