If you've known me for very long, you probably already know I love SARK. Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy is a wonderful author, artist and creative mentor who creates these yummy, juicy works that celebrate creativity. I discovered her work in college, in the form of a poster in professor Gayle Luck's office, and I've loved her ever since. (Gayle was, by far, my favorite professor ever. Love, love, love her to pieces!) I have never, however, allowed myself to travel to take one of SARK's classes. I have lots of excuses and reasons about why this is so, but I'm over making excuses! I've moved on to the DOING IT portion of my life.
I'm super excited, because SARK is teaching her first ever e-class, and I have signed myself up! Dream Boogie with SARK! is about identifying your dream, clarifying it and going for it! A combination of conference phones calls, streaming internet video (from her magic cottage, shown at right), downloads and creative assignments, there will be a lot of in depth, fun interaction. I've already received preparatory downloads to play with and get myself into the mood! The class starts April 14th, and I will keep you all posted on my adventures. (You can still register for the class, by the way... There is a link in my right hand side bar that gives you more information about the class and other SARK opportunities.)
"Your creativity is an immense force that is inside every cell of you. The value of that is immeasurable. Your creativity in action is so needed by our world and the people in it. No other person has your eccentric blend of ideas, attitudes and perceptions. We cannot see with YOUR eyes!" --SARK, from The Bodacious Book of Succulence
